(Jobs also available in Preston, Sheffield & Leicester)\n\nYou will like\n\nThe HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician, Manchester role itself where you will:\n\nInterpret instructions from job cards and repair orders, ensuring compliance with repair specifications\n\t\nAttend training sessions to keep your skills up-to-date with the latest technical developments\n\t\nAccurately report and record all work undertaken, including vehicle tests and any additional faults\n\t\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment at all times\n\t\nProvide timely, accurate information and maintain detailed records of your diagnostics and repairs\n\t\nSupport the company’s reputation by delivering high-quality workmanship\n\t\nWork effectively within a team in a busy workshop environment\n\t\nFollow health and safety regulations and company policies to uphold standards\n\t\nOperate within a varied workload, tackling diverse jobs on specialised equipment\n\nDAYS - 4 on 4 off days.  Either 06:00-18:00 or 07:00-19:00.\n\nNIGHTS - Monday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Friday nights. Either 18:00 - 06:00  or  19:00 - 07:00\n\nYou will have\n\nTo succeed as an HGV Mechanic/HGV Technician, you will have a healthy mix of the following:\n\nHold a City and Guilds Level 3 qualification in HGV Mechanics\n\t\nPossess at least 3 years' experience working in a fast-paced workshop, dealership, or related sector (including trucks, agricultural vehicles, etc.)\n\t\nHave familiarity with workshop administration systems (job cards, reports, electronic service sheets)\n\t\nEnjoy a varied workload and be adept at troubleshooting\n\t\nBe a team player with excellent communication skills\n\t\nBe flexible to work shifts, including days and nights, on a 4-on, 4-off pattern\n\nYou will get\n\nAs an HGV Mechanic/HGV Technician, you will enjoy a competitive salary & comprehensive benefits package, including:\n\n£45,000 – £47,500 basic salary plus a performance-related yearly bonus\n\t\n£2,500 joining bonus after successfully passing probation\n\t\nGenerous company pension scheme (up to 8%)\n\t\n25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)\n\t\nFull sick pay entitlement\n\t\nAccess to a healthcare plan and life cover\n\t\nGym membership schemes\n\t\nLoan car and cycle-to-work schemes\n\t\nExclusive 10% Ducati discount\n\t\nOn-site facilities, including a canteen with a pool table\n\t\nAnd many more employee benefits designed to look after your well-being and development\n\nYou can apply\n\nto this HGV Mechanic role by clicking the button on this job posting or by sending your CV in confidence to .
