Job Purpose As HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) Technician you are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy goods vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition. The role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all repairs comply with safety regulations and standards. As we grow, we are looking for a 1 new HGV Technician to join us working 4x4 days Monday to Sunday (£53,505) and 1 new HGV Technician to join us working 18:00-06:00 Monday to Thursday (£52,416) Key Duties and Responsibilities Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs Carry out major and minor repairs on HGVs, trailers, and other fleet vehicles. Complete routine servicing, inspections, and preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tyre work. MOT & Compliance Preparation Prepare fleet vehicles for MOT testing. Ensure all vehicles meet VOSA standards and regulatory requirements. Present vehicles at MOT stations on scheduled dates and times. Emergency & Breakdown Support Provide roadside repair support for fleet vehicles when required.
