An excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Mechanic / Technician to join a well-established company

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience.

Location: Stockport SK6.

About The Company:

Established in 1950, they are a 4th generation family run business that helps clients from various sectors totransport their heavy loadsacross the UK and Europe.Whether they need them for one trip or to completely project manage their transportation requirements from start to finish.

They are now looking to recruit an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their team.

About The Role:

Working in a team of highly skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles, the successful HGV Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle inspections

General servicing and pre-planned maintenance

Reactive maintenance as required

MOT preparation / Presentation

Correction of running defects

Candidate Requirements:

Fully qualified HGV Mechanic with City & Guilds / NVQ

Able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair

Have knowledge of modern haulage vehicles
