HGV Mechanic – South Shields
Pin Point Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic on behalf of our client based in South Shields.

Our client is a well-established, family-run business with over 50 years of industry experience.

Role & Responsibilities

*

Servicing HGV vehicles

*

Carrying out inspections, repairs, and MOT preparation

*

Providing roadside assistance when required

*

Maintaining high work standards in line with “O” Licence requirements

*

Welding and fabrication work

*

Completing all relevant paperwork and documentation accurately

Requirements & Skills

*

Previous experience as an HGV Technician/Mechanic

*

Strong technical knowledge to ensure maintenance and repairs meet required standards

*

Ability to accurately diagnose faults

*

Experience carrying out safety inspections and preparing vehicles for MOT

*

Full driving licence with at least a Class 2 (Category C) entitlement
