About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our friendly and professional team in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established company that values quality workmanship and offers a great work-life balance with Monday to Friday, day shifts only.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of HGVs to DVSA standards
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
Conduct vehicle inspections and prepare vehicles for MOTs
Ensure all work is completed safely, to a high standard, and within timeframes
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Proven experience as an HGV Technician or Mechanic
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
A commitment to high-quality workmanship and safety standards
What’s on Offer:
Salary up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Monday to Friday, day shift only – no weekends
