HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic\n\nLocation: Croydon\nShift Pattern: Choice of shift pattern (7am–3pm, 8am–4pm, or 10am–6pm)\nRate of Pay: £22ph\nContract: Permanent\n\nAbout The Company:\nAn independent commercial vehicle repair and maintenance business in Croydon with a busy 8,000 sq ft workshop. Many of the Technicians have been with the business for many years.\n\nYou’ll be working on a wide variety of vehicles including HGVs, trailers and LCVs. The workshop is well equipped with 3 ramps, more than 5 bays, and a brake roller tester – everything you’d expect to help a good HGV Technician do the job properly.\n\nThe Role\nAs an HGV Technician with us, your day-to-day will include:\n\nRoutine servicing, inspections, and MOT preparation on HGVs, trailers, and LCVs\nDiagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults\nUsing diagnostic equipment to identify issues quickly and accurately\nWorking closely with other technicians and the workshop manager to prioritise jobs\nMaintaining a tidy, safe and well-organised work area\nHours & Pay\n\nChoose one of the following shifts: 7am–3pm, 8am–4pm, or 10am–6pm\nOvertime available before/after shifts and Saturday mornings\n£22 per hour (basic) / £25 per hour (overtime)\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe’re after an experienced HGV Technician with a solid background in commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
