HGV Technician – Main Dealer

Workshop Location: Dunstable
Position: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 44 hours per week (rotating shifts)
Pay: Up to £21.00 per hour (dependent on skills and experience) + overtime at time and a half

About the Role We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy main dealer commercial vehicle workshop. You will work to main dealer standards, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repair of heavy goods vehicles to manufacturer-required quality levels.

Working Hours (44 hrs/week)
Monday – Friday

Early shifts: 06:00 – 16:00
Late shifts: 12:00 – 22:00
1-hour lunch break
Early finish on Fridays Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, service, repair and maintain HGVs using computer-aided diagnostics.
Work efficiently to main dealer quality standards.
Complete all job cards and paperwork accurately.
Ensure health & safety protocols are followed.
Support workshop team and contribute to high customer satisfaction. Skills & Experience Required
Level 3 HGV Technician qualification (or equivalent).
Proven HGV workshop experience, ideally at a main dealer.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
Full UK driving licence (Class 1 desirable but not essential). Benefits
