HGV Technician Iver - Slough
Monday to Friday | Day Shift | Up to £47,000 + Overtime Available
We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our busy and well-established workshop based in Iver. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday on a day shift, offering an excellent salary of up to £47,000 per annum, with overtime readily available. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs and trailers Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults Completing MOT preparations and inspections to DVSA standards Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company and manufacturer guidelines Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environmentRequirements: Previous experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance) Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills A valid HGV licence (Class 1 or 2) – desirable but not essential Ability to work independently and as part of a team A proactive and reliable approach to workWhat’s on Offer: Salary up to £47,000 per year (depending on experience) Overtime available paid at competitive rates Monday to Friday day shift – no weekends Stable, long-term employment Well-equipped workshop and supportive team environmentIf you’re an experienced HGV Technician looking for a well-paid, weekday-only role in Iver, we’d love to hear from you.
