HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic – Modern Volvo Fleet
Pay: Up to £30.00 per hour | £78,000 OTE
Schedule: Saturday – Wednesday | 6:00am – 4:00pm (50hrs)
Location: Dagenham
The Role We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join our busy workshop, working on a modern fleet of Volvo FH trucks and trailers.
This is an ideal opportunity for an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic who wants consistent hours, strong earning potential, and the chance to work on a premium, well-maintained fleet.

Supportive workshop teamKey Responsibilities As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic, your duties will include:

Servicing, maintaining, and repairing HGV trucks and trailers
Performing diagnostics, inspections, and fault-finding
Completing routine maintenance and safety checks
Ensuring all work meets DVSA standards
Maintaining high levels of safety and workshop housekeepingWhat We’re Looking For
Previous experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
Experience with modern trucks such as Volvo FH models preferred
Relevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent) desirable
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
