HGV Technician Temp

Find out exactly what skills, experience, and qualifications you will need to succeed in this role before applying below. - Perm Location: Trafford Manchester, M23 Hours: 40 hours per week We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician to join our clients busy Trafford depot on a 3 month temp to perm basis.

Working in a modern, well-equipped 6-bay workshop, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing a fleet of 150 waste vehicles that support essential environmental services across the community.

The Role Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify faults and carry out effective repairs Dismantle, overhaul and repair vehicle components Maintain HGVs and plant equipment to ensure operational efficiency Complete job cards, inspections and documentation via tablets and PDAs Carry out road tests and assist with roadside breakdowns Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures Undertake ad-hoc driving duties (e.g.

MOT appointments) About You City & Guilds, IRTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Category C HGV Licence and Driver CPC Municipal or waste fleet experience xehkeey desirable Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills Specialist tools and diagnostic equipment are provided.
