HGV Technician – Waltham

Day & Night Shifts Available | 4 on 4 off | Up to £51,500.00

The Role As an HGV Technician, you’ll be responsible for:

* Carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on HGVs

* Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards in line with repair orders

* Maintaining a strong “right first-time” ethos to ensure zero rework

* Collaborating with the VMU Manager on parts, labour, and additional repairs

* Accurately recording time spent and ensuring the workshop remains clean and safe

* Playing an active role in meeting workshop objectives and targets

* Maintaining the working capacity of machines and tools

The Ideal Candidate

* NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification (Essential)

* Previous experience working on HGVs in a fleet or commercial environment

* Ability to confidently use workshop IT systems to deliver tasks

* Strong safety awareness and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

* A flexible attitude with the ability to work as part of a team and on your initiative

Desirable:

* HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence

* Tail lift experience

Shifts & Pay

* Night Shift (4 on, 4 off): £23.68 per hour (Approx. £51,852 per year)

* Day Shift (4 on, 4 off): £21.53 per hour (Approx. £47,144 per year)
