Job Title: HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Salary: £26 per hour

Shift: Covering a rotating shift - other shifts available, talk to us about your preference

Monday to Friday 0600hrs to 1430hrs/1430hrs to 2300hrs (40 hrs per week paid)

Overtime available Saturday & Sunday! (double time Sunday!!)

We are looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join our client one of the UK’s leading manufacturers.

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Job Responsibilities:

* You'll be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques.

* You'll work independently to maintain and repair vehicles and components.

* You'll carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).

* You'll provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.

* You'll carry out final checks on work that has been completed.

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Qualifications and Requirements:

* Time-served HGV Technician or equivalent qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 preferred)

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

* An extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles.

* Familiarization with developments in the automotive industry.

* Valid Driving License
