Shift: Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm

About your new company

My client is a large fleet maintenance company based in Leeds, due to their continued growth they are now looking for a skilled welder/fabricator to join their ever growing team.

About your new HGV Welder / Fabricator role

- You will be required to undertake Welding / Fabricating on commercial vehicle bodies and chassis in a maintenance and refurbishment setting.
- This will include tankers, trailers and HGV's
- You will be required to work on a huge variety of different vehicles so experience in a variety of sectors is beneficial

The successful HGV Welder / Fabricator will require

- Experience of medium- heavy fabrication of steel construction & welding - (2mm to 10mm)
- Ability to build and tack weld fabrication from a drawing and then complete welding
- Ability to spot visual faults in fabrications and correct them in a timely fashion.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Experience working on trucks, trailers and tankers
