Higher level Teaching assistants needed in East London

TLTP are recruiting for an HLTAs supporting pupils who have Autism. There are no severe behaviour issues, all students are very bright and capable.

With their bespoke curriculum, specialist teaching and high levels of social and emotional support, they create fulfilling educational experiences that enable each student to thrive.

They offer access to a range of qualifications, apprenticeships and employability programmes, so that by the time the students leave them, they are equipped with the skills, experience and opportunities they need for success in further education, training or employment.

Many of their students arrive with communication difficulties or anxieties that have created significant barriers to learning. They take the time to understand each young person's individual needs, so they can better support them in achieving their full potential.

Students have the opportunity to pursue either GCSEs or Entry Certificates in the core subjects (Maths, English and Science), as well as Arts Award qualifications (Level 1 or 2) in Art and Media, LAMDA for Drama, and Food Tech.

They also offer a broad programme of PSHE and life skill development, including Employability, College Transition and Access to Work Placements, with a Social Skills Curriculum and Cognitive Behavioural Approach embedded across all subjects.
