They are now seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team and support the teachers and students in KS1/KS2.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the teacher and pupils throughout the school day, including delivering lessons, providing targeted interventions, and helping to raise the academic standards of students.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead and deliver lessons to small groups or whole classes, under the direction of the class teacher\n\nProvide targeted support to individual students, especially those with additional needs\n\nSupport the planning, preparation, and assessment of lessons\n\nHelp implement interventions for students who require additional support\n\nAssist in maintaining a positive, focused, and inclusive classroom environment\n\nSupport the development of students' academic, social, and emotional needs\n\nMonitor and track pupil progress in collaboration with the class teacher\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nEssential:\n\nLevel 4 or above HLTA qualification (or equivalent)\n\nProven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting, ideally as an HLTA\n\nStrong understanding of the primary curriculum\n\nAbility to work independently and lead groups of students\n\nStrong communication and organisational skills\n\nAbility to build positive relationships with students and staff\n\nDesirable:\n\nExperience working with students with additional learning needs\n\nKnowledge of specific interventions (e.g., phonics, literacy support)\n\nAn understanding of safeguarding practices and policies\n\nWhy Work with Aspire People?\n\nCompetitive Pay - Based on your experience and the role\n\nCareer Progression - Opportunities for development and future permanent roles\n\nDedicated Consultant Support - Available to offer advice and assistance throughout your placement\n\nProfessional Development - Access to free CPD courses to enhance your skills\n\nQuick Placement - We make it easy to start your new role without unnecessary delays\n\n£250 Referral Bonus - Recommend a colleague and get rewarded\n\nSafeguarding\n\nAspire People is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
