Simply Education is seeking an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Sutton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and proactive HLTA who is ready to take on extra responsibility, support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2, and make a real difference to pupils' progress and development.
About the Role:
Deliver lessons to whole classes in the teacher's absence
Support teachers in planning, preparation, and assessment
Lead small group interventions and targeted support
Work with pupils across KS1 and KS2 to raise attainment
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For:
HLTA status (or equivalent qualification/experience)
Previous classroom experience, ideally across KS1 and KS2
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Ability to lead learning confidently and adapt to pupils' needs
A team player committed to the wider school community
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
