Derby College Group is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide dedicated support for Maths classes, including GCSE resits and Functional Skills, at our Broomfield Hall campus. The Opportunity As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), youll play a key role in supporting Maths teaching for post-16 learners, including GCSE resits and Functional Skills. Working closely with teaching staff, youll provide in-class support, deliver small group activities, and help students develop confidence in numeracy. here . About You Youll have experience supporting post-16 learners and a good understanding of the GCSE and Functional Skills Maths curriculum. A team player with strategies to engage students who may be disengaged, youll bring strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
