Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Independent Prep School - Richmond upon Thames Start Date: April 2026 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Your responsibilities will include: * Leading targeted small group interventions to strengthen understanding and build confidence * Delivering focused Maths and English support sessions to boost pupil attainment * Working across Year 4 to Year 7, supporting pupils through key stages of their learning * Working collaboratively with teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver effective learning support * Supporting assessment activities and contributing to tracking pupil progress The school is looking for an HLTA who: * Has strong experience working in a primary school as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant * Is confident delivering academic interventions, particularly in Maths and English * Has experience supporting pupils across KS2 and into lower KS3 (Year 4-Year 7) * Is proactive, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team * Holds HLTA status or has equivalent relevant experience If you are committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential and are ready to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
