About the School
This is a warm, welcoming and forward-thinking primary school with a strong sense of community and pride. The school places children at the heart of everything it does, creating a happy, creative environment where pupils feel safe, inspired to learn, and consistently exceed national expectations. Staff are highly engaged, collaborative and passionate about continuous improvement, delivering a rich and broad curriculum where every moment truly counts for every child.
You’ll be joining a school that:
• Values creativity, wellbeing and high achievement
• Has friendly, supportive staff and strong leadership
• Invests in professional growth and reflective practice
• Takes pride in high-quality teaching and targeted interventions
The Role
Working across Key Stage 1, this varied and fulfilling role combines classroom support, intervention work and PPA cover:
• Morning support in class and leading small group interventions to raise attainment
• Afternoon responsibility for PPA cover in KS1, delivering engaging whole-class lessons
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN
• Working closely with class teachers and senior staff to ensure consistency and progress
An HLTA qualification is not essential, but you must have a proven track record of successfully covering whole-class lessons in a mainstream primary school and delivering impactful booster and intervention sessions.
About You
You will:
• Have strong KS1 experience and excellent classroom presence
• Be confident leading lessons independently
• Have a clear history of raising attainment through small group work
• Bring enthusiasm, professionalism and a child-centred approach
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HLTA or experienced TA ready to take the next step in a beautiful school setting where staff and pupils thrive.
