We’re working with a welcoming primary school looking for a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is a brilliant role for someone who enjoys stepping up, supporting teachers, and helping pupils get the most out of their school day.
You’ll be delivering lessons, supporting small groups, and keeping learning on track when teachers are out of class. If you enjoy variety, responsibility, and seeing pupils grow in confidence, you’ll feel right at home here.
What the role involves
Leading whole-class sessions when required
Supporting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
Delivering intervention groups to support pupil progress
Helping pupils stay engaged, confident, and ready to learn
Working closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment
We’re looking for someone who
Holds a HLTA qualification
Has previous experience working in a UK primary school classroom
Is confident delivering lessons and managing a class
Builds strong relationships with pupils and staff
Is proactive, organised, and enjoys being part of a supportive team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
