As an Auditor, you will be supporting our Compliance Caseworkers (Tax Specialists) in carrying out tax, duties and levies investigations. You will be providing technical systems and data interrogation support, with the intent of tackling non-compliance and electronic sales suppression. To do this, we need to you to analyse and understand customers computerised systems, software, processes and data in relation to their accounts. You will mentor and coach junior colleagues, building their confidence and skills using your leadership qualities. As this is a vital role within tax compliance, we will provide you with the necessary support and learning needed. Should you have the desire to progress further, we are committed to supporting your personal development. The role of an Auditor is varied and involves: Interviewing customers and their representatives as part of supporting investigations, either virtually or face-to-face by visiting customers premises across the UK. Employing critical thinking to analyse systems and processes in customers to identify potential risk areas and to highlight errors. Having strong written and verbal communication skills to detail findings and recommendations in formal settings and in audit reports.
