This is an outstanding opportunity to join a leading consultancy in Nottinghamshire as a Highway Maintenance Engineer. The role involves delivering Highway engineering projects and providing specialist engineering services which enhance and maintain the road network.

What you will be doing: ·Design and manage the delivery of highway related construction and maintenance projects which may be complex and significant to achieve quality, programme and financial targets meeting internal and external clients and stakeholder requirements. ·Provide specialist design, technical and cost advice to internal and external clients to support the delivery of complex and large-scale projects across the organisation and as a standalone service. ·Manage the evaluation and authorisation of externally designed engineering schemes on behalf of internal and external clients to ensure the highway asset meets regional and national design specifications and safety standards. ·Collaborate with the Construction and Commercial Division to manage workflow to support the achievement of company business plan objectives for productivity and profit across design and build functions. ·Adhere to Health and Safety management systems, processes and requirements ensuring full adherence to health, safety and environmental legislation, policy and best practice and safeguarding staff contractors and members of the public. ·Ma...
