This exciting new role of Highways Continuous Improvement Manager is focused on supporting and guiding multi-disciplinary teams to ensure Staffordshire's highway infrastructure and services support the creation of vibrant, safe, and sustainable communities.

In this role you will be instrumental in translating learning from recent Highways Transformation into the development of a refreshed programme of work and building in continuous improvement across the service. Working within Highways Business Support & Improvement you will work collaboratively aligning highway service delivery to contribute to economic growth, sustainability, and resilience.

You will be based in Stafford with the ability to work flexibly. This role is fixed term until December 2027.

Main Responsibilities

You’ll play a pivotal part in supporting continuous improvement across Highways & the Built County Service. Working closely with senior colleagues, you’ll manage projects, working on cross cutting themes, and ensure we deliver efficient, high-quality services. This role offers the opportunity to shape future services, embed new practices, and deliver meaningful outcomes for our residents.
