We're seeking a dynamic and ambitious Highways Electrician working on street lighting, highways electrical systems, and rail‑related installations. The role involves installing and maintaining street lighting, columns, isolators, ANPR systems, and wider highways/rail electrical infrastructure, with an emphasis on safety, flexibility, and technical competence.

What the role requires

Experience in street lighting or highways electrical work.

Certifications such as G39, IPAF, HERS ECS, 18th Edition, and 2391/714 testing & inspection.

NVQ Level 3 in Highways Electrical Systems and JIB Gold Card are desirable.

Additional advantages include a 7.5T licence, HIAB ticket, and motorway experience.

Strong safety awareness and willingness to work nights or away when needed.

What the role involves

Street lighting installations, isolations, lantern swaps, and column works.

SWA terminations (25mm+ experience beneficial).

Installing ANPR and other highways electrical systems.

Rail lighting and electrical works across varied environments.

Working within a supportive team focused on continuous training and progression.

Package and benefits

Salary from £48,000.

38 days holiday including bank holidays.
