Highways Electrician - £48k+ | Stable Work | Growing Contractor | Good Team Culture

We're looking for an experienced Highways / Street Lighting Electrician to join a reliable, steadily growing contractor working on a mix of highways maintenance, upgrades and improvement schemes across the UK.

What you'll be doing

Street lighting maintenance, repairs and LED upgrades
Column installs, replacements and isolations
SWA jointing/terminations and cut‑out upgrades
Electrical testing, inspection and fault‑finding
Working on highways and local authority schemes as part of a small, dependable team
Some night work and occasional working away (accommodation provided)The work is varied but familiar - proper hands‑on highways electrical work alongside a team that knows the job.

What you need

HERS ECS card (essential)
Experience in highways or street‑lighting electrical work
G39, 18th Edition, IPAF, 714/2391
A good attitude, safety‑first mindset and reliability
Willingness to pick up nights or stay away when a project requires it

Location

Ideally based between Watford - Heathrow - Southampton, or up towards Northampton / Birmingham.
