Highways Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Highways Supervisor to work on National Highways schemes across Area 10 and Area 12. This is a key site-based role, responsible for supervising highway works, ensuring safety, quality, and programme delivery in line with National Highways standards.

You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and act as the main point of contact on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

·Supervise and manage day-to-day highway construction and maintenance activities
·Ensure works are delivered in compliance with National Highways standards and specifications
·Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance
·Deliver daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inductions
·Coordinate plant, labour, materials, and subcontractors
·Complete site records, permits, and reports accurately and on time
·Liaise with site management, clients, and stakeholders

Essential Requirements

·SSSTS or SMSTS (required)
·CAT & Genny ticket
·First Aid at Work
·National Highways Passport
·Proven experience supervising works on National Highways schemes
·Strong knowledge of highways construction and safety procedures
·Good communication and leadership skills
·Full UK driving licence
