Hinge Joint Machine Setter/Operator

We are currently recruiting for a Hinge Joint Machine Operator . This role involves setting up, running, monitoring, and maintaining hinge joint machines while ensuring consistent output and minimal downtime.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Operate hinge joint machines efficiently and safely
Set up machines according to production specifications
Monitor production quality and make adjustments as required
Load materials into the machine
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning
Identify and fix mechanical faults
Repair machinery breakdowns where possible
Follow health & safety procedures at all times
Maintain accurate production records
Work to daily production targets and deadlines
Requirements:
Have a minimum of 2 years machine operating/engineering experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
Good mechanical awareness
Ability to follow instructions and technical specifications
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Have excellent communication skills
Be numerical and literacy skills
Experience using hand tools and power tools for machine setup and maintenance
Manual handling of materials
Comfortable working in a factory or production environment
Shift Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00
Pay rate: £13.75ph
