Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Hinge Joint Machine Operator . This role involves setting up, running, monitoring, and maintaining hinge joint machines while ensuring consistent output and minimal downtime.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Operate hinge joint machines efficiently and safely
  • Set up machines according to production specifications
  • Monitor production quality and make adjustments as required
  • Load materials into the machine
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning
  • Identify and fix mechanical faults
  • Repair machinery breakdowns where possible
  • Follow health & safety procedures at all times
  • Maintain accurate production records
  • Work to daily production targets and deadlines

Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years machine operating/engineering experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
  • Good mechanical awareness
  • Ability to follow instructions and technical specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be numerical and literacy skills
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools for machine setup and maintenance
  • Manual handling of materials
  • Comfortable working in a factory or production environment

Shift Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00

Pay rate: £13.75ph
