HLTA / Learning Mentor – Full Time, Long Term (B8 Area)

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) / Learning Mentor to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the B8 area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting after the Easter break.
The successful candidate will be working on a 1:1 basis with a range of pupils from Reception through to Year 6, providing both academic and pastoral support. Due to the varied age range, strong experience across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted 1:1 support to pupils with varying learning needs
Support pupils’ academic progress as well as social and emotional development
Adapt learning strategies to suit individual needs across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff
Monitor and report on pupil progress
Requirements:
Proven experience supporting children across KS1 and KS2
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Essential Qualifications (one of the following):
HLTA status
Level 6 qualification in Education Studies (including placement experience)
PGCE (with or without QTS)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
