Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) / Teaching Assistant - Leyland

A welcoming and well-regarded 2-form entry primary school in Leyland is seeking a dedicated and flexible HLTA/TA to join their team as soon as possible until the end of the academic year.

This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who enjoys both supporting learning and leading teaching.

The Role:

• Morning: Supporting as a Teaching Assistant within the classroom
• Afternoon: Delivering lessons and covering classes across the school
• Working collaboratively with class teachers to support pupil progress
• Creating a positive, engaging learning environment

• Strong leadership team and collaborative staff culture
• Well-behaved pupils who are eager to learn

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• HLTA status, Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Experience working within a primary school setting
• Confidence delivering lessons across Key Stages
• Strong classroom management skills
• A proactive and adaptable approach
