We are looking for a passionate and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a highly regarded school in the Milton Keynes area. Because apparently schools keep needing capable people to hold the education system together with patience and caffeine. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, supporting both teaching and learning while helping pupils thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons, providing targeted support to individuals and small groups. Assist in creating and adapting learning resources to meet the diverse needs of pupils, in line with curriculum objectives. Support the assessment of pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and helping implement strategies for improvement. Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment through effective behaviour management. Provide tailored support for pupils with SEND or additional learning needs, adapting approaches to suit different learning styles. Contribute to the wider school community and take part in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
HLTA qualification or equivalent is essential. Previous experience working in a similar school-based role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
