Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - SEN SchoolsAcademics are working with a range of specialist SEN schools across East Kent who are seeking passionate and proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistants to support their students. We offer flexible opportunities to suit you - whether you're looking for day-to-day cover to keep things varied, or a long-term placement to build consistency and relationships.The Role:As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. This may include:Leading small group interventions and occasionally covering classesSupporting students on a 1:1 and group basisWorking closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored supportHelping to manage behaviour positively and effectivelySEN Needs You'll Be Supporting:You will primarily be working with students with:Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)Why Work in an SEN School?Working within SEN is incredibly rewarding.
