Salary: £115-£125 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role - Higher Level Teaching Assistant

As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the primary school, with a particular focus on EYFS, while also working across other year groups. Responsibilities include:

Providing targeted classroom support in EYFS and across Key Stages 1 and 2

Delivering pre-planned lessons and providing class cover when required

Supporting pupils' academic progress and social development

Creating engaging, inclusive, and purposeful learning environments

Maintaining positive behaviour management and classroom routines

Adapting confidently to different classes, subjects, and learning needs

Person Specification

The successful candidate will:

Hold HLTA status, or have extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant with the confidence to lead classes

Demonstrate strong classroom management and effective communication skills

Be enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil achievement

Have experience working across primary year groups, including Early Years (EYFS)

Be flexible, reliable, and passionate about primary education
