Support Worker Location: Falkirk Contract Type: Permanent – Part time and Full time day shift positions available Salary: £12.84 per hour Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? You’ll help individuals build independence, access opportunities, and take meaningful steps toward a more stable future. Key Roles and Responsibilities: * Deliver high-quality, person-centred support tailored to individual needs and aspirations. * Utilise case management systems to review, monitor, and evaluate progress. * Facilitate key work sessions, reviews, and meetings in line with support plans. * Provide advocacy, advice, and support to ensure service users meet occupancy conditions. * Work in partnership with external agencies to maximise opportunities for supported individuals. * Manage a personal caseload while contributing to the wider team. * Support referrals, admissions, and discharges in accordance with procedures. * Maintain a safe environment through regular risk assessments, health & safety checks, and cleaning duties. * Help individuals with tenancy management, budgeting, and accessing services. * Uphold data protection and confidentiality requirements while maintaining accurate records. * Play an active role in service development, professional learning, and continuous improvement. Essential Skills and Attributes: * A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable people. * Ability to build trusting, empowering relationships. * Awareness of the challenges linked to homelessness and trauma. * Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. * Ability to work flexibly and independently, including lone working. * Basic IT literacy and the ability to maintain clear, accurate records. Desirable: * Experience supporting people with addiction issues, homelessness, or complex needs. * Understanding of trauma-informed, person-centred approaches. * Experience promoting recovery and social inclusion. * HNC or SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare.
