Homeware Buyer

This role is hands-on, fast-moving and ideal for a buyer who loves blending own-brand product development with carefully curated bought-in ranges - creating collections that feel eclectic, joyful and unmistakably unique.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Build exciting, commercially sound homewares ranges across multiple categories.
Lead own-brand product development (textiles experience is a big plus), alongside off-the-shelf sourcing.
Research trends, themes, materials and competitors to spot new opportunities.
Present compelling range stories and proposals to senior stakeholders.Develop strong, collaborative relationships with global suppliers.
Lead supplier meetings: develop product, negotiate costs, minimums and delivery timelines.
Ensure quality, sustainability, ethical standards and compliance are always met.
Own the critical path from concept to launch.
Place orders in line with forecasts and performance targets.
Maintain accurate product data, costings and system setup.
Trade your ranges actively - analysing performance, reacting quickly and maximising opportunity.
Skills & Knowledge
At least 3 years' experience in buying within homewares, fashion or a related consumer product category.
Proven experience in product development and/or working directly with manufacturers (textiles advantageous).
Strong commercial instincts with the ability to analyse and optimise performance.
Confident negotiator with global supplier exposure.
Experience working in a multi-channel retail environment (ecommerce ideal).
Comfortable using buying systems and tools with high attention to detail.How to Apply:
