Location: South London
Salary: £38,000 £40,000
Working Pattern: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
5 days out of 7 with regular evenings and weekends

My client is a well-established, premium multi-site environment combining daily hospitality, high-volume internal catering and large-scale events. They are now seeking a Hospitality & Events Manager to lead food and beverage operations across a diverse and busy estate.

This is a hands-on, operational role with significant scope to build and implement structure. You will be responsible for creating and embedding processes, managing teams and delivering everything from daily catering across multiple locations through to large-scale events for up to 400 guests.

The role will suit a strong operator who enjoys bringing structure to complexity and leading from the front in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day hospitality operations including café, bar and internal catering delivery
Manage high-volume meeting and conference catering across multiple locations
Lead the delivery of large-scale events, including dinners and receptions
Design and implement operational systems, SOPs and service standards from the ground up
Manage staffing, rotas and agency teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery
Oversee stock control, inventory and procurement of equipment and supplies
Drive high standards of service, presentation and customer experience
Use POS and reporting tools to monitor performance and identify opportunities
Ensure full compliance with health and safety, food safety and licensing regulations
Train, develop and manage hospitality teams to deliver consistently high standards

About You
Proven experience in hospitality and events operations within a venue, contract catering or multi-site environment
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and casual staff
Experience delivering both high-volume catering and large-scale events
Commercially aware with experience managing budgets, stock and operational performance
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment
Hands-on, proactive and confident leading from the front
Comfortable working flexible hours including evenings and weekends
