Role Overview We are looking for someone who brings positive energy and a can‑do attitude to every task, whether working independently or as part of a team. As a Hospitality Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in our brand‑new Belfast property, leading both internal and external teams, ensuring seamless guest experiences, maintaining top‑quality standards, and driving operational growth through effective decision‑making and cost efficiency. This is a flexibly scheduled 7‑day cover role with two days off per week. Standard hours are 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, though shifts may rotate based on business needs. The role is primarily hands‑on, with most time spent on‑site, while some administrative work is also required and must be appropriately managed. Visa sponsorship or relocation support is not offered for this role. Responsibilities
Provide world‑class experiences for our guests, ensuring that when they travel, they choose Bob over just booking a hotel. Lead a team of one and take full ownership of stakeholder relationships to drive departmental goals and maintain operational clarity. Manage the staff rota and demonstrate the ability to work independently, as you will be part of a streamlined team of two responsible for the property’s daily operations. Be the go‑to troubleshooter for reactive operations tasks, swiftly resolving any issues that arise. Conduct thorough housekeeping quality audits to maintain our high cleanliness standards for guests and effectively manage our supplier partnerships. Perform property inspections to proactively plan and execute maintenance works, ensuring our product maintains its high‑quality standards. Challenge conventional practices, pushing yourself and our teams to recognise best practices and identify opportunities for operational enhancements. Establish, improve, and implement Bob’s standard operating procedures. Manage Health & Safety compliance within your assigned property.
Candidate Profile
2+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, specifically in an apart‑hotel or operations roles. Proven experience in team and operational leadership, with a track record of managing staff, overseeing daily workflows, and driving performance. Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with property owners, vendors, and internal departments. Passionate customer‑service‑driven attitude for delivering world‑class guest experiences. Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to proactively anticipate and address potential operational issues. Excellent communication and time‑management skills. Keen attention to detail. Fluent in English. Based in Belfast and legally permitted to work in the UK.
