*Host – Bedales of Borough* _£12.21/hour + service charge _
Bedales of Borough, one of London’s most loved wine bars, located in the heart of Borough Market, is looking for a warm, energetic, and hospitality-driven *Host* to join our team.
This is a key front-of-house role in a fast-paced, characterful venue. The host is not only the first point of contact for our guests but also helps maintain the flow of service across three floors, welcoming up to 3,000 guests each week.
*Responsibilities include:* * Greeting and seating guests with warmth and professionalism * Managing walk-ins and reservations (we use ResDiary) * Supporting the service team by keeping the rhythm of the floor smooth and efficient * Updating the guest database * Responding to guests queries via phone, email and Whatsapp.
*What we’re looking for:* * Someone confident and friendly, with a genuine passion for guest experience * Experience in a host, reception or Maitre’d role in a busy hospitality environment * Strong communication skills and a natural team player * Familiarity with ResDiary or similar booking systems is a plus * Previous admin experience with use of excel
