A popular 4-star hotel in Sidmouth is recruiting a Junior Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operation of the hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Assistant Manager to progress within a quality hospitality environment with sea views.
The Junior Assistant Manager will assist with staff supervision, service standards, and operational procedures while maintaining a high level of professionalism. This role suits an organised and confident Junior Assistant Manager with strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, support, and train staff where required

Ensure excellent customer service and assist with guest complaints

Support in-house entertainment and daily operations

Assist with stock and equipment control

Ensure premises, hygiene, and security standards are maintained

Follow all cash-handling procedures

Comply with Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Food Safety, and GDPR

Key Requirements:
Previous hotel or restaurant experience essential

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

English language level C2 (CEFR) or above

Relevant hospitality qualification advantageous

Must have the right to work in the UK
