We are seeking an experienced and driven Hotel General Manager to deliver consistent service excellence and elevate standards at Marlin Aparthotel Waterloo . This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring you to inspire and direct your team to achieve revenue targets, manage budgets, and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction. You will play a key role in maintaining Marlins high standards of service while continuously enhancing the guest experience. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including Front of House, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage (F&B), and Meetings & Events (M&E). Deliver consistent, high-quality guest experiences throughout every stage of the customer journey. Plan, organise, and oversee accommodation and related hotel services. Provide strong leadership, guidance, and direction to the hotel team. Manage revenue performance, including wages, stock control, and cost efficiency. Support budget planning, financial management, and expenditure control. Oversee maintenance, supplies, and furnishings to ensure the property is maintained to a high standard. Develop and implement effective work schedules for individuals and teams. Train, coach, and motivate staff to achieve service excellence. Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager (minimum 23 years). A self-starter with ambition, passion, and strong leadership capabilities. Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality service while managing budgets effectively. Hands-on approach with a proactive, can-do attitude. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused mindset.
