Duties and responsibilities related to the Housekeeping Team Leader - Flexi Hours role
Lead the daily housekeeping operation on assigned floors, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas consistently meet luxury cleanliness and presentation standards.
Support the delivery of personalised guest experiences by communicating guest preferences, special requests and room status updates to relevant departments.
Guide, motivate and support room attendants and public area colleagues, providing on-the-job coaching to maintain high performance and service consistency.
Oversee the organisation and upkeep of housekeeping pantries, equipment and supplies, ensuring all items are well-maintained, safely stored and fully stocked.
Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public spaces, identifying issues proactively and coordinating timely follow-up with maintenance and other teams.
Monitor workflow and task allocation through operational systems, ensuring requests are completed efficiently and productivity levels remain high.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, handovers and stock levels, contributing to smooth communication between shifts and effective departmental planning.
Act as a point of contact for guest concerns related to housekeeping, resolving issues promptly and professionally to uphold the hotels service standards.
About you
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented housekeeping professional with previous experience in a similar supervisory or team-leading role, ideally within a hotel or luxury hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, a passion for maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards, and the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. A solid understanding of guest expectations, operational systems and service excellence is essential, along with the confidence to collaborate effectively across departments to support a personalised and seamless guest experience.
