Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Allocations Officer for a Local Authority Client in Berkshire.

In this role, you will manage the Housing Register, ensure compliance with the Housing Act, and update applicant bands.

Duties:

Manage and maintain the Housing Register and nominations. Apply Part 6 and Part 7 of the Housing Act to allocations. Review and update applicant bands, removing those who no longer qualify. Maintain accurate records using Jigsaw software.Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

Experience managing Housing Registers and nominations. Knowledge of Part 6 and Part 7 of the Housing Act. Proficiency with Jigsaw housing software. Experience reviewing and updating applicant eligibility or bands.What's on offer:

Salary: £17 - £19ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week ( 1 day per week on site)
