We’re hiring! – Housing Officer (Income Management Focus) £18.19 PAYE / £20.33 LTD per hour Crawley (Office-based with travel in the local area) Full-time – 37 hours per week Initial 3-month contract I'm working with a local authority client in the Crawley area who are looking for an experienced Housing Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is primarily focused on income collection and arrears management, helping tenants sustain their tenancies and supporting financial wellbeing. Key responsibilities:

Monitoring rent accounts and managing rent arrears Liaising with Housing Benefit, DWP, and Jobcentre Plus Offering income maximisation and budgeting advice Conducting home visits and phone interventions with tenants Preparing documentation for court proceedings and attending hearings when necessary Assisting with the set-up of new rent accounts and payment plansThe ideal candidate will have:
