My client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a strong presence in the London market. They are a modern and progressive firm, continuing to grow across key practice areas.
Their Housing team handles a broad range of work and is recognised for delivering high-quality legal services. Due to planned growth and internal developments, they are now looking to recruit an additional lawyer into the team.
About the role:
They are seeking a Housing Lawyer to join their team. This is a flexible opportunity, and they are open to candidates at Solicitor, Associate, or Senior Associate level depending on experience.
The role will involve managing a varied caseload of housing matters, with a particular focus on housing litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with strong communication and client care skills.
You will be expected to demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, alongside maintaining a flexible and proactive approach to your workload.
Your experience should include:
- Experience handling a caseload of housing matters from inception to conclusion
- Strong experience in housing litigation, including:
- Disrepair claims
- Landlord and tenant disputes
- Possession proceedings
- Solid understanding of housing law and litigation procedures
- Experience working within private practice or an in-house legal environment
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload with appropriate supervision level
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience using a case management system
Desirable:
- Experience acting for landlords and/or tenants
- Advocacy experience (not essential)
- Experience supervising junior team members (for more senior candidates)
