Job Title - Housing Support Officer
Duration - 9 Months
Rate - £17- 20 per hour
You will manage a caseload of service users, providing tailored support to help them overcome barriers and achieve sustainable outcomes.
Main Duties
*
Deliver structured, person-centred support in line with agreed support plans
*
Help residents sustain their tenancies and understand their rights and responsibilities
*
Complete needs assessments, risk assessments, and regular support reviews
*
Provide guidance around budgeting, debt management, and welfare benefits
*
Liaise with local authorities, support agencies, and healthcare professionals
*
Encourage engagement with employment, training, and community activities
*
Maintain clear, accurate records and case notes
*
Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are always adhered to
What We’re Looking For
*
Previous experience within housing, supported accommodation, or community-based support
*
Understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable or at-risk individuals
*
Knowledge of housing processes and benefits systems (advantageous)
*
Confident lone-working and time management skills
*
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
*
A calm, professional and empathetic approach
