Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, who are recruiting for a Housing Support Worker in Blackburn, Manchester. The successful candidate will be allocated a number of shifts with some late nights up to 8pm and occasional weekend work.
Responsibilities of the Housing Support Worker includes:
Working with a variety of clients with complex needs including homelessness, substance misuse and young offenders
Signposting clients to other services within the community
Completing housing benefit, council tax and universal credit claims
Conducting risk and needs assessments
Requirements of the Housing Support Worker:
Enhanced DBS
Full UK Driving Licence
Flexibility around shifts - including some late nights and weekend work
