This is a fast-paced environment and looking for someone who is adaptable in their approach.The roleWe are looking for a pro-active and people focused HR Advisor to join our Central Office team to support managers and employees across the wider organisation.In this varied role, you'll play a key part in shaping a positive employee experience by supporting wellbeing, driving inclusive practices, delivering recruitment activity, and helping the organisation make informed, data-led people decisions.What you will be doing?Building strong, trusted relationships with managers to provide practical and confident HR advice across a range of people mattersSupporting employee wellbeing through absence management, welfare meetings, occupational health referrals, and proactive wellbeing initiativesLeading end-to-end recruitment activity, including job design, advertising, interviewing, and onboarding, as well as supporting wider recruitment campaignsSupporting the development, review, and communication of HR policies and proceduresIdentifying learning and development needs and supporting managers to create and implement development plansContributing to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives by promoting inclusive practices and using workforce data to help improve representation and fairnessSupporting the development of people analytics by maintaining HR data, producing reports, and delivering insights to inform decision-makingSupporting employee engagement activity, including preparation and delivery of the annual employee survey and follow-up actionsUsing HR systems to accurately maintain employee data and generate reportsSupporting the wider HR team in delivering key people initiatives and organisational changeWorking closely with GDPR colleagues to ensure employee data is handled securely and in compliance with legislationWhat we want from you?Experience working in a HR Advisor (or similar) role within a fast-paced environmentCIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards it) is desirableStrong understanding of UK employment law and its practical applicationConfident user of HR systems and strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levelsStrong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing prioritiesWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
