My client, a fast-growing and dynamic organisation, is looking for a HR Assistant to join their team in London. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth delivery of HR processes while contributing to a positive employee experience。 This is a varied position covering administration, recruitment coordination, payroll support, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes (contracts, offer letters, exit documentation)
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
  • Assist with probation tracking, contract changes, and employee updates
  • Manage HR inbox and respond to employee queries

Recruitment & Talent Support

  • Coordinate interviews and candidate communications
  • Support job postings and CV screening
  • Prepare interview materials and track recruitment progress
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout

Payroll & Benefits

  • Support monthly payroll preparation and data validation
  • Assist with benefits administration (pension, insurance, etc.)
  • Track absence, annual leave, and HR metrics

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure HR processes align with UK employment law and internal policies
  • Support audits, reporting, and HR documentation
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and GDPR compliance

Employee Engagement & Office Support

  • Assist with internal events and engagement initiatives
  • Support employee communications and surveys
  • Provide general administrative support

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate training programmes and onboarding plans
  • Maintain training records and monitor completion
  • Support performance and development processes


Requirement:

  • Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion

Desirable:

  • Previous HR internship or admin experience
  • Basic knowledge of UK employment law
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g. Moorepay, SuccessFactors)
  • Interest in or working towards CIPD qualification
