You will play a critical part in embedding within the business, building strong relationships, and driving HR initiatives that support both immediate and long-term goals.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a trusted HR Business Partner to senior stakeholdersProvide hands-on support across a full generalist remitLead and support change programmes and organisational development initiativesManage complex employee relations cases, including:Absence management (high volume)Disciplinary and performance casesWork effectively within a unionised environment, building strong relationships and gaining buy-inSupport workforce planning and organisational designCollaborate with the wider People team to ensure consistent delivery of HR servicesEmbed within the business to understand operational challenges and deliver practical solutionsAbout YouWe are looking for a confident, credible HR professional who can quickly build trust and deliver impact.Essential:Proven experience as an HR Business Partner / Senior HR GeneralistStrong background in unionised environmentsExperience delivering change programmesAbility to manage a high volume of ER cases, particularly absence managementStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and gain buy-inHands-on, pragmatic approachDesirable:Experience within housing, manufacturing, or similar operational sectorsExperience in organisations undergoing transformation or growthCIPD qualification (or equivalent)JBRP1_UKTJ
