HR Compliance and Operations Manager


We are seeking HR Compliance and Operations Manager to join our Team and work across the Head of People’s remit ensuring that practices, policies and procedures adhere to legislation.

The HR Compliance and Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and completing audits both internally and externally to minimise risk to the business. Work with regulatory bodies to produce required documentation and manage risk and support the People function to drive improvements through analytics and data.

What you'll do:

˃Accountable for the monitoring and updating the HRIS ensuring accurate data maintenance and reporting

˃Drive the people agenda by analysing metrics and data to support the actions needed.

˃Support the HR Team by using data to identify trends to drive action plans

˃Develop policies and procedures in adherence with legislation presenting these to the wider HR leadership team for delivery.

˃Work closely with Head of HR and HR Manager to provide simple project plans and timelines to comply with any legislative changes.

˃Accountable for regular internal audits for compliance including but not limited to agency, RTW, anti slavery, GDPR and ethical practices.

˃Take the Lead in all external audit requirements.

˃Accountable for compliance related issues such as DSARs, GDPR related training and Non conformance.

˃Keep the Company Secretary updated on any legislative changes for data protection.

˃Working across the Head of People remit to ensure, process’s are simple, legislative and fit for purpose.

˃Prepare data for the wider business for Pay reviews. Gender pay, ethnicity and disability reporting

˃Take a lead in the administration of ISO actions, keeping the BCP updated.

˃Ensure all forms, policies and procedures are versioned controlled and tracked for latest versions.

˃Update and maintain the information on the intranet ensuring its current.

˃Lead the HR administrator in their day to day duties.

˃Maintain and update all agency contracts and supplier lists.

˃Lead and investigate agency worker non compliance such as AWR and audit failures.

˃Lead the relationship with agency personnel to monitor and ensure agency worker issues are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.

˃Review and amend employment contracts as needed keeping ahead of any legislative changes as required.

˃Work with wider HR team to produce new starter salaried contract and offers.

˃Produce People related data for the wider business as required including Board reporting

˃Collate required information for insurance claims and reporting as required

Requirements:

˃ Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Microsoft Excel)

˃ Good attention to details

˃ Ability to work multiple workstreams
